Casa do Conto

The planned layout includes, as was formerly the case, an entrance hall with vertical access to every floor of the building. At the focal point of this vertical space, a skylight was designed to capture light from the outside, and enable visual contact with the sky. The house's social areas (reception, lounge, library, dining room and garden) are arranged throughout floors 0 and -1, with the upper floors reserved for the private rooms. Every room is different, having been furnished with vintage furniture and other design items.

""Congratulations on your hotel! Casa do Conto is a fantastic place, both architectural and athmospherical. It is one of these places you want to keep a secret to yourself, and at the same time share it with your friends!! We will come back!!""

"My wife and I stayed at the Casa do Conto in July 2011 and I can say without a doubt that this was a great experience! We were guests at this truly unique hotel for almost a week and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left Alexandra and Tito made us feel like family much more than guests. I travel the world for busines and have never stayed anywhere that felt so full of life and where we felt so warmly cared for. To call this a hotel is not to do it justice. This will be our home away from home whenever we visit Porto and I believe that we've found wonderful new friends in the owners and staff in this beautiful city."
